The development of Issue 8 followed a wide consultation to understand stakeholders’ requirements and a review of emerging issues in the
food industry. The information has been developed and reviewed by working groups made up of international stakeholders representing
food manufacturers, retailers, food service companies, certification bodies and independent technical experts.
BRC Global Standard for Food Safety - ISSUE 8
(2 day Course)

Provided by a certificated BRC trainer, this two-day course is
designed to enable participants to gain a full understanding of
the general principles of the Standard, and how to comply with
the requirements. Attendees will also gain an understanding of
what to expect during the process of certification, and actions
needed prior to, during, and after the Audit.

This course applies to all sectors of the food industry including
primary production through distribution. We encourage plant

how to conduct internal audits within their facility to meet GFSI
audit requirements. A comprehensive audit system is
fundamental to a company’s food safety and product quality

Payment Policy: Payment for public courses is due upon registration. Course registration

Travel Arrangements: Lodging and travel costs are not included in the course fee. The

Cancellation/Transfer Policy: Substitutions are welcome anytime; however please notify

Early Cancellations: More than two weeks, prior to the course date will be issued a refund
less a 25% processing charge.
Late Cancellations: Less than two weeks prior to the course date are not issued a refund
Program Cancellation: FoodHACCP reserves the right to cancel or postpone a program
due to unforeseen circumstances. Should this occur, you will be notified as soon as
possible. All effort will be made to notify participants at least two weeks before the
scheduled events. If FoodHACCP Training & Education cancels a course, your entire
registration fee 100% will be refunded.
