What To Expect When Expecting Your First FSMA Inspection
(Webinar Length:  1 hr 18 min)

With the recent arrival of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Congress has tasked
FDA with the enormous responsibility of substantially improving the overall safety of our
national food supply. To accomplish this goal, the new law imposes significant new legal and
regulatory requirements on the food industry, and gives FDA a wide-range of incredible new
powers and authority to enforce the new standards. In turn, FDA will begin using those new
powers in future food safety inspections to ensure that all food companies have implemented
comprehensive, science-based written food safety plans, and have satisfied the long list of
additional new mandates.

We all know that FDA is coming, but not a single company has yet experienced its first
“FSMA inspection.”

What will be covered in this webinar:

FDA inspection process and methodology
What to expect when your first FSMA inspection occurs
How to best respond to the FDA when the agency arrives
The reasons why FDA will visit your facility
The things the agency will expect to see
Common pitfalls and mistakes companies make during FDA inspections
What your company should be doing now to prepare

Who should attend:

QA and QC Managers
Production Managers
Food Scientists and Technologists
Food Safety Personnel
HACCP Coordinators
Government food inspectors
Microbiologists and Food Processing Engineers
Food attorneys
