OSHA Recordkeeping
(Webinar Length:  1hr 35min)

OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) is aggressively enforcing injury and
illness recordkeeping requirements during inspections. Recently, the Agency issued a record
$1.2 million penalty for 83 violations of the recordkeeping regulation. OSHA even completed
a National Emphasis Program which specifically targeted employers that – whether
unintentional or deliberate – inaccurately recorded the injuries and illnesses in the workplace.
Even more concerning for many employers, OSHA has proposed a new rule which would
mandate covered employers to submit their site-specific OSHA data to the Agency to be
used for inspection targeting as well as made available for public review. This would include
information from their OSHA 300/ 300A/301 logs.
