| OSHA Recordkeeping (Webinar Length: 1hr 35min) Overview: OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) is aggressively enforcing injury and illness recordkeeping requirements during inspections. Recently, the Agency issued a record $1.2 million penalty for 83 violations of the recordkeeping regulation. OSHA even completed a National Emphasis Program which specifically targeted employers that – whether unintentional or deliberate – inaccurately recorded the injuries and illnesses in the workplace. Even more concerning for many employers, OSHA has proposed a new rule which would mandate covered employers to submit their site-specific OSHA data to the Agency to be used for inspection targeting as well as made available for public review. This would include information from their OSHA 300/ 300A/301 logs.
